Say hello to Beck!

Beck is an eight month old male red tricolor miniature Aussie – aren’t his freckles the cutest?! Beck was surrendered to a high kill shelter in Georgia. Because Beck hadn’t been properly vaccinated, he came down with the dreaded parvovirus. Fortunately, though, he was an older puppy and strong at that, and he pulled through quickly.

Beck is now ready to start his search for a forever family. He weighs about 30 pounds, and won’t be more than 35-40 full grown.

This guy is ALL puppy! He is full of energy and spunk, so active families will suit him best. At eight months old, he is full-fledged in the chewing stage, so he will need to be watched closely or crated to prevent mishaps. We’re working on his house training, but it seems that he didn’t have much training at all before he was rescued so we’re starting at square one. No worries, though – he’s a super smart boy. He does well in his crate, but can’t go extended hours without being let out.

Beck gets along with dogs and cats alike, and is good with older children. He’s pretty rambunctious, so a home with very small children likely won’t be in his (or their) best interest.

Beck is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and ready to begin the search for his new family.

Beck is currently fostered in Columbia, SC, and his adoption fee is $275.
