Name: Chloe
Age: 3-4 years
Breed: Australian Shepherd
Gender: Female

Chloe is the world’s sweetest little border collie, despite having a very hard life before she joined the Carolina Hearts rescue family. Chloe was found stray in rural South Carolina – emaciated, greasy, missing much of her hair, suffering from a nasty upper respiratory infection, and obviously postpartum from recently weaning a litter of puppies. To top it all off, Chloe also tested positive for heartworms.

It took over three months just to get Chloe healthy enough to handle heartworm treatment. Almost 5 months and hundreds of dollars later, little Chloe has completed her treatment and is ready for a home of her own!

Chloe is a 4-5yo Border Collie with a great moderate energy level. She’s a little thing, weighing in around 35lb. Although her interactions with cats have been limited, she doesn’t seem to take a keen interest in bothering them. She loves playing with every dog she meets and is a total lovebug with people. She insists on sniffing out each person she sees in hopes that they will give her some pets and love!

Like most Border Collies, she is very smart and trainable, and walks and runs well on a leash. She is crate and house trained. If you’re looking for a dog who loves to cuddle on the couch, go for walks, and just generally hang out – Chloe is your girl!

Chloe is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is currently fostered in Columbia, SC.
