Name: Cirrus
Age: approx 1 year old
Breed: Aussie Mix
Gender: Male

This utterly adorable weirdo is Cirrus, a one-year-old Aussie (mix?) boy with the FLUFFIEST tail around. Cirrus is a great medium size – coming in right around 45 lb once he’s filled out – and has a nice moderate-high energy level – even as a young dog his energy is not over the top and is well managed with daily walks, playtime, and training.

Cirrus loves playing with other dogs and has even been friendly with dog savvy cats. He does have an unusual habit of clicking his teeth – particularly when he’s nervous or excited – and while it is mostly noise we do feel he would do best in a home without children under 12. Cirrus can be shy with strangers but once he’s warmed up he fancies himself quite the lapdog.

Cirrus is working on basic obedience in his foster home and is food motivated and a quick learner. He is house and crate trained – though he does prefer to sleep on the cool bathroom floor at night (if you were that fluffy you would too!).

Cirrus is going to make a great addition to an active household willing to continue his training and socialization. He will be available the second week of June once he’s recovered from his neuter surgery. He is UTD on vaccinations and has been microchipped. Cirrus is currently fostered in Columbia, SC and his adoption fee is $300.
