Meet Dash, affectionately Dasher, a three and a half year old blue merle female with the cutest ears! True to her blue merle roots, she has been very picky about who she wants to go home with, but we’re certain the right, experienced family is out there waiting for her!
Dash LOVES to love and be the center of her person’s world. She is true to the aussie stereotype “velcro dog”. She tends to velcro to women before men but in return will thrive for attention from the man in her life in due time. The only thing Dash loves more than having attention is her ball! She will chase a ball from dawn until dusk if you let her! We have even used it as a reward for good behavior.
Dash also loves to meet new people and new friends! Her foster parents have been helping her learn that new people aren’t so scary and to not use her words as much, although she still needs to be reminded from time to time. She gets along well with dogs of all shapes and sizes when outside of her home, so we think it’d be best for her to go to a home where she will be the only dog or with an older, non-dominant dog. She should also be in a home without cats.
Dash was an owner surrender due to the small children in her previous home. She prefers if children respect her space, so we believe she would do best in a home with no small children. She is crate trained, house broken, and it learning to walk politely on a leash. She also looks forward to her grooming sessions, she’s great with baths, brushings, and nail trimmings.
Dash is UTD on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.
