Sweet and goofy, Hera is a 1-2 year old, female, Standard Rat Terrier. If you’re looking for an Aussie girl without all the fluff and attitude, sweet Hera may be the girl for you! Hera was pulled from a GA shelter with her 4 precious herder mix puppies – now that they’ve found their furever homes she’s ready for hers!

Hera can be a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up rather quickly once she feels comfortable around them. She reminds her foster mom of all the best characteristics of her personal Aussie – she is a real character, extremely athletic, affectionate, smart, and a Velcro pup. She has picked up on commands quite easily, is house trained, and has not needed to be crated in her foster home. Hera has done well with all her foster siblings – male and female dogs, cats, and even chickens.

Hera would be great companion for an active person or family – she would be a wonderful running, walking, or hiking buddy. She has a moderate energy level and has done a great job “adapting” to the activity level of her foster family – she’ll play when they want to play or hang out on the dog couch during down time in the evenings.

Hera is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all her vaccinations and ready for her furever home!

Hera is located in Charlotte, NC.
