If you are looking for soft, cuddly, lovey, affectionate, sweet, playful boy look no further! Janga is your man. He is roughly 8 months old and 34 lbs of sheer love and affection! Although he is deaf, it doesn’t seem to affect him much, as he runs, plays, and loves as much as any hearing dog. He is currently working on his hand signals for obedience and learning quite nicely — smarty pants!

Janga currently lives with his three foster sisters and he is ever so popular with them and any dog that comes into the house. He has wonderful doggie-manners with other dogs and would do well in a home where he has a companion. He plays constantly, whether its tug, chase, wrestling, or just rolling a ball around by himself (when his foster sisters get tired, he entertains himself with any and all toys).

Janga never meets a stranger no matter where he goes. He absolutely loves meeting everyone and will start wiggling as soon as he sees someone may pet him. He loves to go on trips with his people, whether it is hiking, sitting outdoors at a restaurant or bar, or standing in line at a snow cone stand — he loves being around people and enjoying time with his family.

He is house-trained and crate-trained, although he does sometimes bark in the middle of the day when left alone. He is learning basic manners with hand-signals and UTD on all vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

Janga would prefer a home with:

* Another doggie companion
* Active people who will take him places
* A fenced-in yard where he can run around and play

Although he has not been rigorously tested with cats or children, we will consider homes with respectful dog-savvy cats and/or respectful children over 6 yrs old.
