Meet Jubilee, or as her foster family lovingly calls her “Jube Jube” and “Jubi”, a 12 year old Mini Aussie girl. Jubilee came to us in quite bad shape. We thought she might be a hospice case or worse, but we couldn’t stand the thought of her dying alone in the shelter. Upon visiting our vet we discovered she had mild pancreatitis, a really bad UTI, an old break to her hip, cataracts, lots of pain, inflamed/irritated skin, and fatty tumors all over. Our vet had hope that we could fix her up – so we loaded her up on meds and it worked! Her pancreatitis is gone. Her UTI’s are gone. Her skin is healed! Her old break can’t be fixed but her pain is well controlled with medication.
Jubilee went from a lethargic, absolutely pitiful dog to a wonderful, happy companion. First off she is hilarious – she play bows and rolls all over her dog bed like a puppy. She loves other dogs and cats but people are her jam! Especially children – the toddler in her foster home and Jubilee are inseparable.
Jubilee takes nightly glucosamine and omega fatty acids. Just over the counter supplements. We don’t know how long Jubi has left with us but we do know that whomever adopts her is getting one heck of a dog that will add love and laughter to their life.
Jubilee is house broken, we believe spayed (she has an incision), up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and an all around joy to be around. She is currently fostered in Pittsboro, NC and her adoption fee is $150.
