Weight: 39 pounds
Kuechly is a sweet two year old red bicolor Aussie girl who was dumped at the shelter by a backyard breeder (along with Brees and Newton). She has the most beautiful golden eyes, and the cutest little freckled nose and toes!
Since she has been in foster care, Kuechly has really started to blossom. She is going to make the perfect companion for someone who would like to have a fairly quiet, protective girl to keep them company. She is completely potty-trained, crate-trained, walks well on leash, uses the doggy door like a champ, and takes treats from your hand in the most gentle way. Kuechly is very Velcro, and quite a cuddle bunny! And talk about a wiggle butt! This girl gets her entire back half wiggling, even down to her freckled feet!
Kuechly is a healthy happy, medium-sized girl, and her foster mom is working on putting a couple of more pounds on her. Currently she weighs in at 39 pounds. She has been caught counter-surfing, but that was during her first week in foster.
Kuechly would do best in a home without small children. She is still a little shy, and the fast movements of kids running around scares her. She would also do best in a home without cats. She has shown a little too much interest in them in the past. Kuechly would love to have another canine companion. She fits right in with her three foster sisters and her blind foster brother! She loves to run and play with them, but also settles down well for long naps and cuddle time. She hasn’t shown much interest in toys or balls, but loves deer antlers! She is working on learning her simple commands, and does well with sit, come, and down. If you are looking for a quiet, medium-energy dog to add to your family, Kuechly would be perfect!
Kuechly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on her heartworm preventatives. She is currently fostered in North Augusta, SC, and her adoption fee is $250.
