Name: Wally
Age: 1 yr old
Breed: Australian Shepherd
Gender: Male

Wally is a 1 year old lovable, energetic guy. He lives to retrieve, play with the ball, rough-house with his foster sisters, cuddle with his people and sit for snacks. He is very sweet and affectionate and would likely flourish as an only pet because he thrives on attention. Although he does love other pups, he just craves being the center of his people’s world.

Wally is extremely intelligent and is an agility bred Aussie. He loves a wide open run and can jump over the widest creek. He was learning agility as a puppy, but his first owner became ill, which led him to his second home. Unfortunately Wally was bored and under-stimulated and took interest in chasing the kid’s gerbils and the family cat in his second home. Which is how this handsome hunk landed with Carolina Hearts. He will be the perfect pup for an active and loving home forever home!

Wally has been diagnosed with hereditary elbow dysplasia suspected to be a fragmented medial coronoid of the ulna (FCP). This is currently managed with medication and supplements, but may require surgery in the future if it begins to bother him. It doesn’t seem to slow him down as he is always ready to go go go!

Wally is UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is currently fostered in Charlotte, NC and his adoption fee is $300.

If you are an approved applicant and are interested in Wally please contact the adoption committee.
